If you’re a senior executive, your resume must present you as already having achieved success and looking for another position only because, like Alexander the Great they need new worlds to conquer and new mountains to climb.
Make your resume sound like a success story instead of a job quest by concentrating on the accomplishments and achievements you have to your credit. Focus on describing the projects you’ve overseen, managed and created, and do so in the most positive terms using the active voice.
List the top results of each one in a manner that implies you’re only hitting the highlights and there’s much more than anyone reading this resume can learn by interviewing you.
Make sure to set off each accomplishment by leaving a suitable amount of white space between sections.
In other words, make your resume read like a success story that makes readers long to read the sequel!
